5.6.3 Update: Quick Bug Fixes

A quick update to address some missing suggestion in card search such as Type, Artist, Ability, Watermark and etc. This is an old bug that resurface when we doing some clean up in the code. To ensure such silly mistake never happen again, we have developed a quick deployment test, hopefully this can make the app more stable in future.

We are doing some clean up to remove some outdated stuffs. For example, Leviathan Commander format is removed since the community announced the end of it. In the coming release, we will do some clean on on news channels, remove those no longer updating their sites. If you found any new and great MTG article sites that we haven’t discovered, do let us know.

5.6.1-5.6.2 Update: CR+MTR Update & Bug Fixes

Some quick update. CR is update to August version and MTR is updated to July version (Yes, we forgotten previously). The currency converter is broken due to the API was obsoleted. We get a new one and fixed them as well. Many thanks to our users who help feedback on the problems or bugs they found.

5.6.0 Update: Commander 2018 Update & Power Saving Mode

Many say the new commander 2018 is existing, some say the reprints are terrible. No matter what, we still doing our job and updated the database for commander 2018. Check them out, all card’s latest on-line pricing are also ready.

The main reason why we designed the Bugko mainly with dark background color: we love dark color and it help save power if the app run on a device with OLED screen. So we are taking this concept to life counter as well. Now life counter will automagically enter into power saving mode when idle. The mostly black color background will help save more battery life wen running on device with OLED screen.

5.5.14 Update: Bug Fixes

Many news on Commander world. Amazing spoilers of Commander 2018 are releasing every day. Huge shake up in MTGO Commander banlist. Many powerful cards were unbanned. Mean while we continue to fix more bug, improve the app performance and hope to server you all better.

5.5.10 – 5.5.13 Update: Promo Set, IPG and CR Update

We have updated multiple promo set in the database: Store Championship Promos, Standard Showdown Promos, Release Promos, Judge Promos, Grand Prix Promos, Conventions Promos and Buy A Box Promos. The database now also included two new promo sets: Open House Promos and League Promos. Phew, that is a lot of shinning cards added to database this time.

Dear judges, IPG and CR is updated in the database and document section. Dear Brawl players, 25 starting life option is now available in life counter.

We have done some major changes in order to improve the performance of the app and deal with memory leak problem. All user should notice faster card and collection loading time if you have a large collection and powerful phone. Android user should notice faster page switching and screen rotation no longer reset the whole page.

5.5.9 Update: Core Set 2019 Promo & Bug Fix

How is everyone Core Set 2019 pre-release going? Cracked any good pre-release foil cards? We have updated the database to include Core Set 2019 Promo cards, so that you all can have the latest pricing of the cards. Anyone missed the San Diego Comic Con 2018 Promos cards? They are awesome. We also included them in the database now.

We have fixed some critical crash in iOS that affect user with older iOS and some annoying apostrophe key on iOS keyboard problem. New version of IPG just released today, so which mean you can expect more update is coming up.

We are back to core set again. After a few weeks of non-stop spoiler train, core set 2019 database is now ready. We also remembered to include the release note this time. 5.5.5 – 5.5.6 UI Improvement & Draft Timer Bug Fix

We are still very much focus on fixing bugs and improving the user experience of the app in this release. Laggy when scrolling IPG / Comp Rule? Super smooth now. Hard to click on the delete button on the right hand side of the text box? No more. Draft timer’s bug that make sound on the beginning? Fixed.

5.5.3 – 5.5.4 Bug Fix

What a bumpy week we have. Sorry for so many troubles and releases to address issues found on Android platform. This is due to new Google play store which require the app to target higher API level / Android version (and we though we did, but failed to test properly). We also spend some time to improve how the news list refresh and slash some old found bugs.

5.5.0 – 5.5.2 Update: Life Counter + Database Update

Finally after months of development and fine tunning. The long awaited and most requested feature: Life Counter is now ready! We know there are ton of life counter app in the play store or app store, so we know a normal life counter isn’t going to be good enough. So we set a high standard and it is a huge challenge for us to meet all the objective when developing the life counter feature.

• Support 2 – 4 players.
• Support different type of counter including life, poison, energy, experience, dead, city’s blessing, monarch and commander’s damage.
• Allow counter show / hide depending on the played format and deck.
• Support for mana counter including plains, island, swamp, mountain, forest, waste and even storm count.
• Counter changes / history.
• Auto save.
• Simple, modern and clean design.

We have put in many though and effort in into designing the life counter feature. For example:

• How we can show counter changes history without letting our user do any calculation between each changes.
• Taking 13 damages, but half way clicking the life counter and you forget how many time you tapped on the screen? How we can let user know how many time they clicked?
• How we design a life counter with maximum information but minimum interface.

Ok, enough of talking about life counter feature. You all should really try it and tell us how you feel about it.

We also some multiple magic sets / products update in database including Battlebond: Promo, Commander Anthology 2018, Global Series: Jiang Yanggu and Mu Yanling and Signature Spellbook: Jace. Banlist / point list for Canadian Highlander and Tiny Leader are also update. Tiny Leader? Yes, the format that we almost forgotten, they have a new ban card announced last week.

We are really sorry for causing trouble for Android users. During our 5.5.1.0 update, it break all Android devices running on version 7.0 or later due to incompatible version of database API we used. Special thanks David for reporting the issue directly to us and work with us so  that we can quickly came out a solution to fix this problem in in 5.5.2.0 update.
